On Saturday, November 10th 2007, members of the Vermont partner dancing community worked together to put on the "Fourth Annual Camp Ta-Kum-Ta Benefit Partner Dance Showcase" to support Camp Ta-Kum-Ta, Vermonts cancer camp for kids.

New Years Eve Ball
On Monday December 31st, 2007, First Step Dance hosted our Second Annual New Years Eve Ball. We will be using the Emerald Ballroom at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington. The hotel has even agreed to put down a second portable floor so that there will be even more dance space. Bryan Bishop will be the DJ again this year, so the music will be great!!!

Weekend Dance Workshop with Diane Jarmolow 2006
On September 23rd and 24th, 2006 we hosted a Weekend Dance Workshop with Diane Jarmolow, a DVIDA National Examiner, the former owner of the Metronome Ballroom in San Francisco, and my favorite teacher. Diane has been teaching since 1978, and she has taught hundreds of professional dance teachers how to teach dancing, and thousands of dancers how to dance and how to improve their dancing.
